The Goal offers job seekers and recruiters an innovative online platform to help them find better roles and talent globally. The company wanted to position itself as the top online career recruitment solutions provider across the Southeast Asia region, with the launch of various new services and products.

The Plan

Monster enlisted Mutant to run a fully-integrated regional campaign focusing on PR, content marketing and social media strategy. Through the development of data-led media reports, Mutant focused its efforts to raise’s profile across Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines across mainstream and targeted industry publications and media. This also involved facilitating one-on-one media interviews with their regional MD. To help further connect Monster with relevant consumers across the region, Mutant crafts weekly content and manages all of Monster’s digital channels.

The Outcome

Mutant has managed to secure regular coverage for across targeted publications, including CNBC, Bloomberg, Channel NewsAsia, Human Resources magazine, Marketing MagazineMumbrella, and more. and Mutant Communications have been in partnership for PR strategy since late 2014. This period has seen huge success for Monster in the key Southeast Asia markets of Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The content improvements across Monster’s websites ensured it was easier for users to digest and engage with, resulting in a significantly lower drop off rate on the internal pages. The average content length on each page was reduced by more than 50% (without losing substance). The success of the initial country pages led to a more standardised approach for each market across the region. We are currently working with on an ongoing basis on PR and content, and are continuing to raise their profile and position them as expert thought leaders in the field.
